Facing Down Phones, Riverside Adapts

The work and lessons these teachers do at this school is absolutely necessary and invaluable to help struggling students learn the life skills they will need once they graduate, and to keep students from dropping out of high school. We need more education like this at all our schools to make the academic lessons and social emotional lessons and life lessons mix up meet the needs of students who have been impacted by the pandemic and by the addictive smart phone and other internet devices technology.
